At New World Leaders Institute, we believe in Leaders that create the future. Leaders who transform environments they are part of.
We see the New World Leader as an alchemist, transforming the experience and available knowledge into a better future, successfully navigating through the massive amount of information available, virtual world, harmonizing the usage of artificial intelligence with empowering people, being fully connected, visionary as well as grounded, and above all, human oriented.
Our journeys are built on intelligence. We need to be intelligent. This is what we aimed for while growing up, further on while studying, and even more while doing/ leading business, where intelligence is a very common word, used in several concepts – emotional, artificial, business, etc.
As humans we are constantly expanding, in order to adapt and thrive. Our intelligence is transforming, including more and more elements, as the environment is becoming more dynamic.
In our model we are addressing 6 intelligence areas that we believe leaders need to master, to become a more Connected, Inspiring, Mindful and Heartful Leader.
We consider Human Intelligence as being aware of who we are as a person.
What are my intrinsic strengths?
What are my personal values?
Who am I as a leader?
Whom do I want to become and how can I be more aligned with myself?
In this Intelligence area we are addressing how the brain works, main cognitive biases, mindsets, our intrinsic qualities, and how to spot and work with what’s holding us back.
As well, a high focus of this area is on knowing self - values, purpose, superpowers – and how to leverage on our authenticity, being more aligned with our true self. Being before Doing.
Key transformation areas:
“Emotions are what make us human. Make us real. The word 'emotion' stands for energy in motion. Be truthful about your emotions, and use your mind and emotions in your favor, not against yourself.” Robert T. Kiyosaki
In Heart intelligence we speak emotions: understanding and managing emotions, own and of the others.
What are emotions?
What is the difference between moods, feelings, and emotions?
How are we dealing with challenging emotions?
Also, we speak antifragility: antifragility goes beyond robustness; it means that something does not merely withstand a shock but improves because of it. That applies both in personal lives and in business.
In this intelligence area we are addressing emotions, emotional regulation, how to use emotions in our favor. Also, we are addressing the capacity of bouncing forward from negative events, how to transform and grow from experiences, and stress management.
A high focus of this area is working with uncertainty, managing emotions during change and transformation.
Key transformation areas:
We consider Connections Intelligence as developing and maintaining qualitative and strong human connections, as well as developing and nurturing networks.
How do we really connect with one another?
How are we building trust?
How do we create a trustful and inclusive environment?
Human connections are the base of collaboration, trust, and creating a positive work environment. Trust is essential for a company’s performance. High-trust companies are much healthier work environments. As well, in a positive and safe environment you can foster creativity, innovation, and learning by creating a culture of experimentation.
In this intelligence area we are addressing the science of human connection, how to build trust, building strong connections in multicultural and multigenerational environments, how to develop executive presence, and how to nurture networks.
Key transformation areas:
Leaders who aspire to excellence, seek to create the greatest impact. These are typically the leaders that inspire others, and the ones that are the most valued.
Leaders that make people to feel purposeful, appreciated, engaged, so they can bring their best self to work and thrive.
We consider having Impact Intelligence when leadership presence is in service to others – employees, clients, communities.
In this intelligence area we are addressing organizational and external impact – decision making, coaching style leadership, creating a positive company culture, building a compelling vision and a higher purpose, being a servant leader, managing talents, and having a positive impact in the world.
Key transformation areas:
Digital transformation, artificial intelligence, avatars, metaverse...it’s all here. Tech is a vital part of any business, and it wins more territory each day.
One of the biggest challenges leaders are facing now is how to lead organizations where human and virtual are in harmony. We are all living HumanITy.
As well, the more we advance in working digital we need to address the ethical aspects – understanding the rules and ethics while using AI.
What does it take to lead in the digital age?
In this intelligence area we are addressing how to develop a digital mindset (for leaders and organization), how to foster human connections and trust in the virtual world, leading multigeneration - digital natives and digital adopters, and bridging the boundaries between IT and Humanity.
Key transformation areas:
There are many meanings attributed to vitality:
- having the capacity to live and grow, physically, mentally, and in strength
- energy and power
- feeling of aliveness
- approaching life with excitement and energy; not doing things halfway or halfheartedly; living life as an adventure; feeling alive and activated
One of our favorites is the sense given by Peterson and Seligman:
"A vital person is someone whose aliveness and spirit are expressed not only in personal productivity and activity - such individuals often infectiously energize those with whom they come into contact." (Peterson and Seligman, 2004, p. 273)
Our view on Vitality Intelligence is being aware and in balance with all aspects of our lives, being aware of our impact, being aware of the connections between us and the world we are living in. Being a whole person, connected with self and others.
In this intelligence area we are addressing the intrinsic motivation, life balance, tools and techniques for being more balanced (breathing techniques, meditation, and others), and wellbeing.
